Our Labs
We Read Lab
Empowering People of Determination through education and technology.
Developed by Key2Enable in collaboration with leading partners across the UAE, the We Read Lab creates accessible environments where learners build essential academic, communication, social, and vocational skills. Operating across 10 locations — including Al Mafraq, Al Ain, Al Dhafra, Dubai (Able UK Centre), Abu Dhabi University, Aldar Schools, and Sharjah — each hub brings together students, educators, families, and technology to create meaningful learning opportunities.

Inclusive Education Development
Building systemic capacity for inclusion — one specialist at a time.
Armenia has made significant progress towards inclusive education, and Key2Enable is deepening that work through partnerships with schools, PMPCs (Pedagogical-Psychological Assessment Centres), and communities nationwide. The initiative strengthens the capacity of special educators, speech and language therapists, psychologists, and support teachers — equipping them with assistive technology and evidence-based practices that outlast any single intervention.

Inclusive Learning Lab
Where every classroom becomes a space for every child.
The Brazil lab works alongside mainstream schools to redesign physical and digital learning environments that welcome students with diverse educational needs. Through innovative learning environments, assistive technology, and educator support, the initiative promotes greater participation, communication, and academic achievement — combining gamified learning with inclusive teaching practices to create schools where every student can actively engage.

Vocational & Life Skills
From the classroom to a career — with dignity at every step.
The India lab focuses on the critical transition between education and employment for individuals with disabilities. Through personalised training, practical learning experiences, and assistive technology, participants are supported in preparing for meaningful and sustainable employment. Beyond the workplace, the programme also strengthens communication, decision-making, self-advocacy, and independent living skills — helping individuals achieve greater autonomy and quality of life.

Mainstream School Inclusion
Inclusive by design. Mainstream by default.
In Spain, Key2Enable is working with mainstream schools to build inclusion into everyday education — not as an exception, but as the standard. Rather than separating students into specialist settings, the programme ensures all learners can participate within their local school communities. Practical teacher training, digital content transformation, and school-wide inclusion strategies make diversity a recognised strength at every level.

Assistive Technology Lab
Technology that listens, responds, and includes.
The Qatar lab is a centre for innovation, implementation, and capacity building in assistive technology. Supporting children and adults with diverse learning, communication, and physical needs, the lab ensures individuals have access to the right tools — from AAC systems to adaptive learning environments. It also serves as a demonstration space where organisations can explore emerging technologies and develop strategies for more accessible environments.

Research & Development Lab
Where the science of inclusion meets the practice.
The UK lab is Key2Enable's research and innovation hub. Working with universities, clinicians, and schools, the lab develops and evaluates new approaches to inclusive education — then disseminates them across the global network. Every programme Key2Enable runs benefits from the evidence generated here, ensuring innovation always leads to real and measurable improvements in learners' lives.

Family & Community Lab
Inclusion doesn't stop at the school gate.
The Canada lab recognises that meaningful inclusion extends beyond schools. Lasting outcomes are achieved when families, caregivers, educators, and communities work together. Through training, coaching, and accessible technologies, parents become confident partners in their child's journey — while stronger connections between schools, community organisations, and support services ensure consistent, meaningful support across every environment.

Inclusive Learning Hub
Where Learning Meets Independence.
The Inclusive Learning Hub brings together assistive technology, communication support, functional learning, and independence pathways in one integrated environment. Designed for People of Determination, the Hub connects learners, families, educators, and specialists to build communication, participation, life skills, and future readiness through personalised, technology-enabled experiences.
